Introduction
A leading German manufacturer of optical systems and optoelectronics chose Vestian to design and manage the construction of their new state-of-the-art lens manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. This ambitious project aimed to create India's largest and most modern lens manufacturing facility, spanning 47,166 sq. ft across four floors in the Titan Industries complex, Bommasandra Industrial Area.
Challenge
Our team faced two main challenges: managing material and labor movement in a constrained space, and ensuring workforce safety during the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining project timelines.
Solution
Vestian tackled these challenges head-on with a personalized approach. We assigned a dedicated safety manager to coordinate material and labor movement, ensuring strict adherence to documentation requirements. Our on-site team of subject matter experts proactively identified and mitigated potential risks. We also developed and implemented additional pandemic protocols to safeguard everyone's well-being without compromising project timelines. Through our collaborative efforts and specialized knowledge, we successfully delivered this state-of-the-art facility within the agreed 240-day timeframe, demonstrating Vestian's commitment to putting real estate to work for businesses globally.
