Introduction
A leading multinational bank headquartered in Southeast Asia sought to expand its global footprint with a new 95,000 square foot facility in Hyderabad. They engaged Vestian as their Development Management Consultant to design and build a workplace that would break away from traditional banking culture and encourage innovative thinking.
Challenge
The client wanted to create a unique workplace that went beyond traditional office design, incorporating elements inspired by outdoor experiences and adventure sports in India. This required highly customized design elements that needed to be both visually striking and functional. The project also demanded careful phasing to allow for continuous operations during construction.
Solution
Vestian developed a personalized strategy to meet the client's innovative vision. We designed multiple zones within the office, each representing different Indian landscapes from sea to sky, creating distinctive identities throughout the workspace. Our team incorporated unique design elements such as parachute lighting, hot air balloon seating, rock climbing walls, and customized carpets. To address the challenge of creating functional "WOW" design elements, we implemented in-situ customization, ensuring each piece was perfectly tailored to the space. Vestian deployed an in-house team of subject matter experts, including electromechanical specialists, design consultants, and architects, to maintain high-quality execution and proper coordination.
We carefully planned and executed the project in two phases, allowing the client to begin operations in the completed areas while work continued in others. This approach minimized disruption and ensured efficient use of the new space.
